The XS212AANAL2 is an M12 threaded cylindrical inductive proximity sensor from the XS2 series, with an unshielded sensing face that delivers an 8 mm maximum sensing distance on mild steel — about double what a shielded version of the same diameter would give, per the standard derating for flush-mount vs non-flush. Output is NPN normally-open, 3-wire DC, rated for 12-48 VDC supply and 200 mA maximum load current — a direct sink input for a PLC or a small relay coil, no level-shifter needed.
Sealing and washdown — IP68/IP69K plus NEMA 4X
