What It Is and What It Does
The XS4P18AB120 is an 18 mm diameter M18 threaded inductive proximity sensor from the XS4 series by Telemecanique Sensors, rated for 8 mm sensing distance in unshielded configuration, with a 2-wire analog normally-closed output operating at 12–24 V DC and protected to IP67. The IP67 rating means it survives washdown environments, and the nickel-plated PBT body resists corrosion and impact. Unshielded sensing allows detection through non-ferrous walls if the metal target is within 8 mm.
