The XS512BLPAM12: This is a shielded cylindrical inductive proximity sensor from Telemecanique’s XS5 series, built with a brass body and nickel-plated finish. Its 2 mm sensing range (shielded) is suited for flush mounting in metal targets, while the IP67 and IP69K ratings let it survive high-pressure washdown environments. Ratings are straight from the evidence: PNP normally-open output, three wires, 12–48 VDC supply, max load 200 mA. The M12 connector (4-pin) simplifies field wiring and allows quick swap without opening the panel. Internal protections for overload, reverse polarity, and short circuit are included on the sensor, which means one less external fuse in many control schemes.
