Current-production XS5 inductive sensor with IP69K washdown rating

The Telemecanique XS518B1DAL2 is a current-production XS5-series inductive proximity sensor built for high-pressure washdown environments, rated IP68 and IP69K. The shielded 18mm brass body with nickel plating carries a 5mm sensing distance and a 2-wire DC NO output that runs on 12-48V DC. Load current tops out at 100 mA, and the output has built-in overload and short circuit protection.

Lifecycle status is current. This sensor carries CCC, CE, CSA, RoHS, and UL listed marks.

Shielded sensing face lets you flush-mount the sensor in metal without derating the 5mm nominal range. The 2-wire DC NO circuit works directly with most PLC inputs; polarity must match the listed supply range. Overload and short circuit protection are internal — no separate fuse needed on the sensor supply line. The 2m prewired cable with bare ends speeds panel termination.
