What it is and what it does
The Telemecanique XS530B1PBL2 is a 30 mm tubular inductive proximity sensor in the OsiSense XS5 range. It detects ferrous targets at 10 mm when mounted flush, outputting a PNP NC signal. Rated for 12 to 24 VDC, switching up to 1000 Hz and sinking 200 mA. The nickel-plated brass barrel and PPS sensing face provide IP68 enclosure. Operating temperature range is -13 to 158 °F. UL, CSA, and CE approvals are on file — matches the compliance expectations for most industrial control panels in North America and Europe.
Mounting and wiring notes
Flush mounting (shielded) allows installation into metal without derating the sensing range. The 2 m PVC cable and three wires (brown +24 VDC, blue common, black NC load) require proper strain relief. Switching frequency is 1000 Hz.
