What it is and what it handles
The XS618B1MAU20: This XS6-series inductive proximity sensor is an M18 cylindrical shielded unit with a brass body and nickel-plated finish. It runs on a 2-wire AC/DC output (NO contact) over a supply range of 24 to 240 V AC or DC, switching up to 300 mA. Sensing distance is 4 to 8 mm, derated for the shielded face. Rated IP67 and IP69K, with a NEMA 4X enclosure – so it handles high-pressure washdown environments common in food and beverage or heavy industrial lines.
