The XS618B1PAL2TF: Rated IP68 and IP69K, this XS6 inductive sensor is built for washdown zones where hosing and chemical exposure are daily. The nickel-plated brass body resists corrosion from chlorine, H2S, or caustic cleaners — a step above painted or plastic housings. Output is PNP normally open, switching 12-48V DC over a prewired 2m pigtail. Sensing range is 8 mm, with overload, reverse polarity, and short circuit protection built in, so a miswired or stalled output won't kill the sensor immediately.
