M30 threaded, PNP NC, M12 connector
The XS630B1PBM12: Inductive proximity sensor from the XS6 series. M30 shielded face delivers a 15 mm sensing distance on standard steel targets. Output is PNP normally-closed, rated 200 mA, running on 12-48 VDC. Built-in overload, reverse polarity, and short circuit protection – no external suppression needed for simple DC loads. IP67 and IP69K rated – survives high-pressure washdown cycles. Brass housing, nickel plated. 4-pin M12 connector; mates with standard pre-terminated cables.
XSAV02801 swap? Not directly
The XSAV02801 from the XSA series matches the M30 thread and 15 mm shielded sensing range, but it's a 2-wire device running on 24-210 VDC with a prewired 2 m cable. XS630B1PBM12 uses a separate 3-wire PNP output and an M12 connector, plus a 12-48 VDC supply. Dropping one into a panel built for the other means changing the wiring harness and supply voltage – not a pin-to-pin swap.
