The XS7C1A1DAL5 is a rectangular inductive proximity sensor from the Telemecanique XS7 family, used for non-contact position detection of metal targets in industrial automation – conveyors, packaging lines, machine tools. Two-wire normally-open output eliminates the separate PNP/NPN supply line, simplifying wiring in 12–24 VDC control circuits. Rated 15 mm sensing distance from the front face, with a switching frequency of 1000 Hz, it handles standard counting and presence applications without starving the scan time. The IP68 enclosure handles hose-down cleaning and occasional submersion. The 5 M PVR cable provides flexibility in conduit runs.
The sensor measures 40 mm wide, 15 mm deep, and 54 mm tall – compact enough for tight rail- or bracket-mounting. The front sensing face is the 40×54 mm plane; mounting holes or slots are typical for this block style. PBT housing withstands most industrial oils and solvents. Cable exit is a fixed 5 m length; plan for excess coil or cut-to-length termination.
