The Telemecanique XS7C4A1DPG13 is an inductive rectangular proximity sensor in the XS7 series, rated IP65/IP67/IP69K for washdown environments, with a shielded 15 mm sensing range and a 12-48 V DC supply. The 40 mm × 40 mm × 117 mm PBT body fits tight panel layouts, and the programmable NO/NC output via screw clamp terminals simplifies wiring. An integral indicator light confirms target presence during commissioning.
How it compares to the XSDA600519H7
If your panel was built around the larger XSDA600519H7 (80 mm width, unshielded, 60 mm range, IP67), the XS7C4A1DPG13 brings a tighter footprint (40 mm width) and IP69K washdown protection. Because it is shielded, it can be flush-mounted without derating the sensing distance. However, the 15 mm range is a step down from 60 mm, so verify target gap clearance. Both use a 2-wire screw terminal connection, but the mounting hole pattern is different – plan for an adapter plate or new cutout. The XS7 operates on 12-48V DC only; the XSDA600519H7 accepts AC or DC. For fresh projects needing a compact, high-IP sensor, this is a straightforward BOM line. For a retrofit, measure first.
Integration into your panel
The sensor mounts via its rectangular body (40 × 40 mm face, 117 mm depth) – plan a cutout for the shielded sensing face. The two bare-wire leads connect to screw clamp terminals and output is programmable NO or NC.
