The XSAV12801L10: M30 cylindrical inductive proximity sensor from the OsiSense XS range. 2-wire AC/DC normally closed output. Sensing range 8 mm frontal. Supply voltage 20-264 V AC/DC. Switching frequency up to 800 Hz. Voltage drop at closed state ≤5.7 V; residual current at open state ≤1.5 mA. Note the 9-second run-up delay at power-up — factor that into rotation monitoring logic to avoid false triggers on startup.

The ≤5.7 V voltage drop and ≤1.5 mA leakage define the load interface — for PLC inputs, check that the input's off-state current threshold exceeds the leakage. The 2-wire AC/DC design simplifies wiring but requires load current to exceed the leakage to ensure reliable switching off. IP67, nickel-plated brass housing, and 10 m cable make it suitable for washdown and vibration-prone positions. Repeat accuracy 3% of Sr ensures consistent detection in speed monitoring applications.
