XSAV12801TT is a Schneider OsiSense XS inductive proximity sensor in an M30 cylindrical nickel-plated brass housing, fixed frontal detection. It's a 2-wire AC/DC device with a normally-closed output, rated 20...264 V AC/DC supply and an 8 mm operating zone. The 32.81 ft (10 m) cable makes it a straight swap for long-run applications without a junction box.
Mounting and wiring notes
Threaded M30 x 1.5 body, 57 mm threaded length, overall length 81 mm. Cable is 2 x 0.34 mm²; strip length and termination follow standard M30 proximity practice. One red LED for output state. The 9 s run-up delay at power-up prevents false pulses while the sensor stabilises — design the PLC start sequence to ignore the first 9 s after power-on if the NC contact is used for safety or rotation monitoring.
Rated performance at a glance
Switching frequency ≤ 800 Hz; repeat accuracy 3% of Sr; differential travel 3–15% of Fr. Voltage drop ≤ 5.7 V closed, residual current ≤ 1.5 mA open. IP67 conforming to IEC 60529 suits washdown zones and damp enclosures.
