The Telemecanique XU2N18PP341D is an active-production 15m through-beam photoelectric sensor with PNP output, rated for washdown environments with its stainless steel barrel and IP67 enclosure. Response time is 1 ms ON/OFF, switching frequency 500 Hz—fast enough for most part-in-place or counting lines. The sensing distance of 15 m gives you a long air gap for conveyor or roll-door monitoring without needing a reflector.
Connection and wiring
M12 4-pin male connector, 3-wire, PNP output. Supply is 12–24 VDC. Maximum load current 100 mA—enough to drive a PLC input directly. Light/dark operating mode selectable means you can set it to output when the beam is broken or when it's made, depending on your logic. Lens material is PMMA (acrylic), which holds up well in indoor industrial settings.
