The Schneider Electric XU2N18PP9AAL5R is a cylindrical M18 photoelectric sensor receiver from the Telemecanique XU range. It uses axial infrared thru-beam sensing with a PMMA lens and a solid-state output, rated 12–24 VDC with reverse polarity protection.
The PMMA lens provides optical clarity and good chemical resistance for industrial environments. The solid-state output eliminates relay wear and contact bounce for high-cycle applications. Supply voltage range 12–24 VDC with reverse polarity protection — no damage from swapped wires. The two LED indicators (green for supply, yellow for output state) give local diagnostics without a handheld tool. Cable connection - prewired, no connector to source separately.
