The Telemecanique XU8M18MB230K is a metal-bodied M18 threaded photoelectric sensor with a 12 cm front sensing distance. It operates in dark mode, meaning the output energizes when the light path to the receiver is broken — typical for presence/absence detection on conveyors or in packaging lines. Supply range is 24 to 240 VAC/VDC. Two-wire design with M12 3-pin AC/DC micro male connector. Rated for a maximum load current of 200 mA and a switching frequency of 25 Hz.
