The XUAH0525 is a current-production proximity diffuse photoelectric sensor from Telemecanique, built for close-range object presence up to 1.9 inches. Switching PNP normally closed at 100 mA on 12–24 VDC, it feeds directly into a PLC input or small relay without a converter. The 0.75 ms on/off response keeps up with moderate line speeds — think conveyor jam, part-in-place, or bottle fill detection.
Threaded 8 mm brass barrel, nickel-plated, with a 2 m PVC cable — mounts through a 12 mm hole with a lock nut or bracket. The IP67 and NEMA 4/6/6P/12/13 ratings mean you can hose it down in washdown zones or run it exposed outdoors. Three-wire PNP wiring: brown to +VDC, blue to common, black to the load (NC). Yellow LED on the barrel confirms output state during setup.
