The Square D / Telemecanique XUB2ANAWM12R is a threaded tubular through-beam photoelectric sensor with a 15 m sensing distance, NPN normally-open output, and a 12 to 24 VDC supply. It switches loads up to 100 mA with a 1 ms on/off response and a 500 Hz switching frequency, making it a straightforward replacement for a line-down M12-connector through-beam slot in a conveyor or packaging machine.
Output-choice comparison with siblings
If your BOM calls for a normally-closed output, the sibling XUB2ANBNM12R (NC NPN) swaps in on the same mechanical footprint and same M12 wiring — only the output logic flips. For a PNP interface, XUB2APANM12R (NO PNP) and XUB2APBNM12R (NC PNP) cover both output states. The housing, lens, range, voltage, and approvals stay identical across all four; the cable and thread remain M12 × 18 mm.
Sourcing and lifecycle
Listed as current production. Quoted to order against an RFQ — no long lead time concern for this active through-beam sensor.
