The Telemecanique XUB2BKSNL2T is an 18 mm tubular through-beam photoelectric emitter from the XUB series, rated for a 15 m sensing distance between emitter and receiver. It operates on 12 to 24 VDC and switches in 1 millisecond — fast enough for counting or position detection on moderate-speed conveyor lines. The nickel-plated brass housing carries an IP67 / NEMA 4X/12 enclosure rating, so the sensor body and optics tolerate washdown environments and outdoor exposure without additional shrouding. Wired with a 2 m PVR cable (3-wire), the XUB2BKSNL2T connects directly to a 12–24 VDC control supply. The 1 ms response time means the sensor can detect objects passing at line speeds up to roughly 15 m/s, assuming a minimum object size that breaks the beam cleanly. For most discrete-part handling, that's ample margin. Because this is the emitter half of a through-beam pair, it requires a separate receiver (same series) to complete the sensing circuit.
