Wired with a 2 m PVR cable (3-wire), the XUB2BKSNL2T connects directly to a 12–24 VDC control supply. The 1 ms response time means the sensor can detect objects passing at line speeds up to roughly 15 m/s, assuming a minimum object size that breaks the beam cleanly. For most discrete-part handling, that's ample margin. Because this is the emitter half of a through-beam pair, it requires a separate receiver (same series) to complete the sensing circuit.
