Telemecanique XUB2BNBNM12R is a threaded tubular through-beam photoelectric sensor in the XUB series, rated for 15 m sensing distance at 12 to 24 VDC. Output is NPN normally-closed, switching loads up to 100 mA at 500 Hz with a 1 ms response time. Enclosure is IP67 and NEMA 4X/12, housed in nickel-plated brass with a PMMA lens and an M12 4-pin DC micro male connector.
Selection notes
The 15 m through-beam range covers long conveyor or door openings; the 500 Hz switching rate handles high-count part detection without missing pulses. Supply is 12-24 VDC with a 3-wire NPN NC output; confirm the load current stays under 100 mA and the input card accepts sinking (NPN) signals. IP67 and NEMA 4X/12 rating means the sensor holds up in wet wash-down, cold storage condensation, or dusty environments; the nickel-plated brass body resists corrosion.
