15 m through-beam for long-range detection
The XUB2BPANM12R is a tubular photoelectric through-beam detector from the XUB series, built for applications where the emitter and receiver are separate units and the beam must be broken by the target. The 15 m sensing distance covers long conveyor runs, wide access gates, or automated guided vehicle paths where a reflective sensor won't reach. Response time is 1 millisecond on both turn-on and turn-off, which means it catches objects moving past at line speed without the PLC missing an edge. The 500 Hz switching frequency confirms it — that's fast enough for most packaging and material-handling lines.
PNP NO output with M12 quick-disconnect
Output is PNP normally open, sourcing 100 mA max at 12-24 VDC. That's a standard industrial sink — it drives a PLC input directly without a pull-up resistor. The M12 4-pin DC micro male connector is the same footprint used across Telemecanique's tubular sensor line, so swapping a failed unit means unplugging the old one and clicking in the replacement without opening the panel gland. The nickel-plated brass barrel and PMMA lens are sealed to IP67 and NEMA 4X/12. That's washdown-rated — fine for food processing floors or outdoor installations under an eave, as long as the M12 cordset is mated and the sealing washer is seated. The threaded barrel accepts the standard 18 mm mounting nut that ships in the box.
