2 m retroreflective, IP69K, NPN dark-on
The XUB9ANANM12 is a polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor with a 2 m sensing distance, meaning it detects a reflector-mounted target up to that range and ignores shiny objects behind it — the polarizing filter blocks false reflections from glossy surfaces. Rated IP69K, the sensor body and PMMA lens withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washdown cycles common in food-and-beverage and pharmaceutical lines.
Switching and output specifics
NPN dark-on output (load current max 100 mA) at 12–24 VDC — the output transistor conducts when the light path is blocked, so a downstream PLC input sees a low signal on object presence. Switching frequency is 500 Hz; above that the pulse width shortens and the PLC input filter may miss edges.
Mechanical fit and protection
M18 threaded cylindrical body, 60 mm length, PBT housing, with a 4-pin M12 connector — mounts through a standard 18 mm hole and mates directly to a field cordset. Overload, short-circuit, and reverse-polarity protection are built in.
