The Telemecanique XUK5ANANL2 is a diffuse photoelectric sensor built for machine presence detection up to 1 m from the target on a non-reflective surface. Its NPN 3-wire output sinks 100 mA at 12–24 VDC, so you need a PLC input card that pulls down (NPN sinking) and supplies 12–24 VDC to the brown and blue leads. The 2 m PVR cable is factory-attached, ready for direct wiring to a terminal block. On-delay, off-delay, or solid-state output mode is configurable via the sensor's internal switch — no separate timer module needed for simple pick-and-place or conveyor gap detection. Yellow LED shows output state; red LED confirms stable sensing.
