Telemecanique XUK8ARCTL2 Diffuse Photoelectric Sensor

The Telemecanique XUK8ARCTL2 is a rectangular diffuse photoelectric sensor from the XU series, with a 750 mm maximum sensing distance and an electromechanical relay output (1NO/1NC). This one runs on any control voltage from 24 to 240 V AC or DC, so it’ll fit into panels with mixed supplies without needing a dedicated power rail. The 750 mm diffuse range covers bin-level or part-presence checks. The relay output drives a contactor or PLC input directly; selectable Light On/Dark On detects both presence and absence. IP65 rating protects against washdowns and dust. Response time is 25 ms and switching frequency 20 Hz, suitable for packaging lines. It’s wired via a 2-meter prewired cable, bare wire end. Body is PBT, overall dimensions 50 x 18 x 50 mm. NEMA enclosure ratings include Type 4 and 4X, so it’s at home in a washdown zone.
