Four sensing modes in one rectangular body
The XUM0ANSAL2 packs diffuse (40 cm), diffuse with background suppression (10 cm), polarized retroreflective (3 m), and through-beam (14 m) sensing into a single miniature rectangular housing — a single part number covers four detection jobs on the line. Output is NPN 3-wire, NO/NC selectable, with a 100 mA load current capacity and a 2 ms response time — fast enough for most packaging and material handling pick-and-place cycles. Runs on 12 to 24 VDC, so it drops into standard 24 VDC control panels without a separate power supply.
Washdown-ready with visual diagnostics
IP67 and NEMA 1/3/4/6/6P/12/13 enclosure means the sensor body and cable entry hold up to hose-down cleaning — suitable for food-and-bev or washdown zones. Three LED indicators — green for power and teach, yellow for output, red for signal instability — give a quick visual read during setup and troubleshooting without a handheld tool. The 2 m PVR cable is pre-wired; no connector to source or seal at installation.

Carries UL, CSA, and CE approvals, so it qualifies for panels shipping into North American and European markets without a separate agency review. PBT body material holds up in industrial environments with exposure to mild chemicals and washdown.
