Multi-mode sensor with compact 4-pin nano connector
The Square D Telemecanique XUM0ANSAM8 is a current-production miniature rectangular photoelectric sensor that supports four sensing modes in one housing: diffuse (40 cm), diffuse with background suppression (10 cm), polarized retroreflective (3 m), and through-beam (14 m). This versatility lets you cover different mounting positions with a single SKU. It uses a NPN 3-wire output (NO/NC configurable) rated for 100 mA at 12-24 VDC, with a 2 ms response time and 250 Hz operating frequency — suitable for moderate-speed part detection on conveyors or packaging lines. The 4-pin nano connector keeps wiring neat and panel-friendly; body is PBT plastic with IP67 and NEMA 1/3/4/6/6P/12/13 enclosure ratings, so it handles washdown or outdoor environments.
