Square D (Telemecanique) XUN5ANANM12 is a long-range diffuse photoelectric sensor with a 0.6 m sensing distance. Rated 12–24 VDC, it delivers an NPN normally-open solid-state output switching up to 100 mA. Housed in an IP67 plastic body with a 4-pin micro DC connector, it's built for washdown and dusty environments. UL, CSA, and CE approved.
The 0.6 M diffuse range detects non-reflective targets without a reflector; typical for packaging, conveyor, or material-handling zones. Response time of 1 ms and operating frequency of 500 Hz are quick enough for moderate-speed lines; not suited for high-speed counting above the 500 Hz ceiling. NPN NO output matches most sinking PLC inputs. The 100 mA load current handles direct coil drive for small relays or indicators up to that limit. Temperature range -13 to 131 °F suits unconditioned indoor cabinets; not for freezer or direct-sun applications.
