The Telemecanique XUYFANEP40030 is a photoelectric fork sensor with a 30 mm sensing gap, built for fast detection of double sheets, labels, and reference marks on small conveyors and vibrating rails.
Output is configurable as NPN or PNP from the same unit, which cuts spares complexity: one part covers both sinking and sourcing PLC inputs. Max load current is 100 mA, enough for direct input to most controllers. Runs on 12 to 24 VDC with 40 mA input draw. The M8 4-pin male connector mates to standard quick-disconnect cables. IP65 enclosure and metal/plastic housing make it suitable for washdown or dusty environments.
