Wire range accepts solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm², with a dual-entry option of 2x 0.5 to 2.5 mm². That covers most control and small power circuits without lugging.
Rated for 1000 switching cycles per hour in AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty — that's continuous motor starting and stopping on conveyors, pumps, or fans without exceeding thermal limits. AC-4 (plugging/inching) is capped at 300 cycles/h, reflecting the higher arc energy during reversing or jogging. Auxiliary contact rating is specified by voltage: 6 A at 24 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 hp at 230 V. The 400 V figure (3 A) tells you this contactor handles control-circuit switching in 400 VAC panels, not just 24 VDC logic.
Clearance: 10 mm upwards, downwards, and forwards; 6 mm at the sides. That's tight enough for dense DIN-rail layouts but leaves space for heat dissipation.
No official successor has been announced because none is needed. The 3RT2023-2AG24 is the current production variant for this S0 frame, spring-terminal contactor.
