S0 frame, spring-terminals, 10 A auxiliary at 24 V
The 3RT2023-2AK60: For a 24 VDC control circuit this contact comfortably switches a standard PLC input or indicator lamp without an interposing relay.
Mechanical endurance and switching frequency
Mechanical life is rated 10 million cycles typical, which for a contactor on a conveyor or pump start that cycles once every 30 seconds translates to roughly 9.5 years of continuous operation before the mechanical wear limit. The maximum switching rate at AC-3 duty (motor starting) is 1,000 operations per hour — one cycle every 3.6 seconds — which is above the typical demand for most motor control applications; the limiting factor in practice is the thermal load of the motor starts, not the contactor mechanical rate. At AC-4 duty (plugging/inching) the maximum rate drops to 300 operations per hour, reflecting the higher electrical stress of making and breaking locked-rotor current. The arcing time is a tight 10 ms, consistent with fast arc extinction in the S0 pole design.
Clearances: 10 mm upward, downward, and forward; 6 mm sideways. The 45 mm width, 102 mm height, and 97 mm depth fit the standard S0 envelope — drops into the same DIN footprint as other S0 contactors and overload relays. The auxiliary switch is built-in, so no separate add-on block is needed for basic status feedback.
