It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with ±180° rotation possible on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward — useful when fitting into tight or angled enclosures.
The coil is AC only, rated 110 V at 50 Hz and 120 V at 60 Hz. That is the single most important fit check: if your control voltage is 24 VDC or 230 VAC, this is not the right coil variant. The contactor draws 0.36 A at 50 Hz and 0.4 A at 60 Hz, so the control transformer must supply that inrush. The auxiliary contact ratings span from 10 A at 24 V down to 0.1 A at 600 V — these are the switching limits for the built-in auxiliary, not the main poles. For motor starting duty (AC-3), the main pole ratings are not listed here, but the size S3 frame typically handles motors in the 15–30 kW range on 400 V; confirm the specific AC-3 current from the full datasheet. Electrical life depends on the switched load; expect fewer cycles at higher currents.
Power wiring accepts stranded conductors from 6 to 70 mm². Up to two auxiliary contact blocks can be attached.
