The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV2011-0JA20-ZX95 is a motor protection circuit breaker designed for protecting induction motors against overload, short circuit, and phase failure. Its 100 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level without upstream fuses needing to coordinate — a real advantage in high-fault panels where you want to keep the main breaker in. Trip Class 10 gives you a 10-second maximum trip time at 7.2× rated current, which is the standard for standard-duty motor starts (pumps, fans, compressors).
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The 45 mm width and 97 mm depth mean it fits standard DIN-rail enclosures without overhang — plan for 50 mm clearance above and below and 30 mm at the sides for airflow and wiring access. Spring-loaded terminals on the main circuit accept 2×(0.5–4 mm²) solid or stranded, so no lug crimping needed for motor leads up to 4 mm².
