It combines a Class 10 thermal overload relay (adjustable 1.8...2.5 A) with a magnetic short-circuit release set at 33 A, all in one DIN-rail-mountable device. For a panel builder, that means one component handles both overload and short-circuit protection for a small motor branch — no separate contactor overload block needed, and the spring-type terminals cut wiring time versus screw clamps. The 1.8-2.5 A thermal setting covers fractional-horsepower motors in the 0.37-0.55 kW range at 400 V three-phase. The 33 A magnetic instantaneous trip clears hard faults fast enough to avoid upstream breaker coordination issues in a typical MCC bucket. Standard switching capacity is adequate for direct-on-line motor starting; no need to derate for normal starting transients.
