Motor protection circuit breaker for the mill floor
The Siemens 3RV2011-1EA25-ZX95 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker designed for motor protection duty, with Trip Class 10 and phase failure detection. It mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 via screw or snap-on, and accepts spring-loaded terminals for the main circuit. The 100 kA breaking capacity at 400 V gives you headroom for high-fault-current panels — keeps the machine running when a motor winding shorts.
Mounting and integration
Fastens with screw or snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715; mounting position is any. Dimensions are 97 mm deep, 45 mm wide, 106 mm high — fits a standard 45 mm slot in a motor control center. Clearance required: 50 mm upward, 50 mm downward, 30 mm at the side. Spring-loaded terminals accept 2x (0.5... 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded.
Breaking capacity and coordination
Rated breaking capacity at 240 V, 400 V, and 500 V is 100 kA; at 690 V it drops to 4 kA. That 100 kA at 400 V means this breaker can safely interrupt a bolted fault up to that level without cascading upstream — critical for selectivity in a distribution panel. The gL/gG fuse backup ratings at 400 V and 500 V are 32 A, at 690 V it's 25 A.
