The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV2011-1KA15-ZW96 is a motor protection circuit breaker designed for motor protection, with a CLASS 10 trip characteristic. It detects phase failure and is rated for a rated value of 20 to 690 V. The breaker mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, in any mounting position.
Breaking capacity and backup fuse coordination
Rated breaking capacity at 400 V is 100 kA, matching the 480 V rating. At 690 V it drops to 4 kA. For higher fault currents, the breaker requires upstream back-up fuses: gL/gG 63 A at 400 V, 50 A at 500 V, 40 A at 690 V. The 45 mm width and 97 mm depth fit standard panel layouts, and the M3 main contact screws accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire.
