DIN rail fit and clearances
Mounting position is any orientation. That zero forward clearance means you can butt this breaker against a panel door or a busbar cover without derating — unusual for a motor-protection device.
Motor sizing and fuse backup
The horsepower ratings span from 1 hp at 110/120 V up to 10 hp at 460/480 V. For a typical 480 V three-phase motor, the 10 hp rating aligns with a full-load current around 14 A — well within the breaker's thermal adjustment range. The fuse backup requirements are given for gL/gG fuses: 80 A at 240 V, 63 A at 400 V, 50 A at 500 V, and 40 A at 690 V. These are the maximum fuse ratings for the breaker to maintain its interrupting rating; oversize them and you lose the SCCR coordination.
