This is a line-protection version, not a motor-protection or ground-fault variant. Breaking capacity is voltage-dependent: 76 kA at 240 V AC, 53 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 8 kA at 500 V. For DC applications, the maximum rated operational voltage is 500 V DC, though the interrupting ratings for DC systems are covered in the separate 3VA MCCB manual. Thermal derating is minimal up to 55 °C — the breaker holds 20 A flat. At 60 °C it derates to 19 A, at 70 °C to 18 A. Maximum power loss is 12 W.
No motor drive or communication function is fitted on this variant. The neutral conductor is not upgradeable or retrofittable.
