Line protection MCCB with TM210 release
The Siemens SENTRON 3VM1020-3ED42-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for line protection, carrying a continuous current of 20 A and a maximum adjustable Ir of 20 A via the TM210 thermal-magnetic release. Breaking capacity reaches 76 kA at 240 V AC, 53 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 500 V — so the interrupting rating drops sharply above 440 V, which matters when coordinating with upstream gear on a 480 V or 500 V distribution bus.
Current rating holds flat at 20 A from 40 °C through 55 °C, then drops to 19 A at 60 °C and 65 °C, and 18 A at 70 °C. Dimensions are 70 mm deep, 101.6 mm wide, 130 mm high, which matches the standard SENTRON 3VM footprint for retrofit into existing MCCB panel cutouts.
