What it is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 5SU9336-1CR06 is a 3-pole RCD-operated circuit breaker (RCBO) that combines overcurrent protection and residual current protection in one 6-module-wide unit. It is rated 6 A at 30 °C with a 30 mA residual trip threshold, Type AC (sensitive to sinusoidal AC fault currents), and a 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2. The C tripping characteristic handles moderate inrush from motor or lighting loads without nuisance trips. Overvoltage category III and pollution degree 2 suit it for fixed-installation distribution boards in commercial or industrial panels.
Temperature derating and mounting
The 6 A nominal rating holds at 30 °C ambient. Above that, derate to 5.3 A at 40 °C, 5.2 A at 45 °C, 4.9 A at 50 °C, and 4.6 A at 55 °C — important for a crowded enclosure with limited airflow. Mount in any position; supply can enter from top or bottom. Installation depth is 70 mm, overall depth 77 mm, width 108 mm (6 modular width units on a DIN rail). Touch protection is built in. IP20 rating applies once installed in a distribution board with conductors connected.
