It protects final circuits in commercial and industrial panels against overload and short-circuit, rated to break 10 kA per IEC/EN 60898-1 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2 at 400 V AC. The C curve (5–10× In) handles moderate inrush loads like motor starters and small transformers without nuisance tripping, while the dual standard means it qualifies for both distribution-board (60898-1) and industrial-installation (60947-2) applications.
Under UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No. 235 the rating is 5 kA, so for North American supplementary-protection applications the available fault current must stay at or below that level. The 4-module-width body (72 mm wide, 90 mm tall, 76 mm deep, 70 mm installation depth) fits standard 18 mm/module DIN-rail enclosures.
The breaker carries IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2 certification for Europe, plus UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No. 235 for North American supplementary protection. The manufacturer provides RoHS and REACH declarations with the standard documentation package.
