The Siemens 6ES7315-7TJ10-0AB0 is a CPU 315-2 PN/DP from the S7-300 family, designed for mid-range control with integrated technology functions. It carries 8 FM (function modules) of memory, giving you room for moderately complex logic without an external memory card. The CPU supports LAD, FBD, STL, SCL, GRAPH, CFC, and HiGraph programming languages, so any Siemens-standard toolchain — STEP 7 V5.5 SP2 or higher with the S7-Technology option package V4.2 SP3 — can target it. The integrated PROFINET interface handles IRT (isochronous real-time) communication, UDP, and TCP/IP via loadable function blocks.
