The ABB 3AUD0000003158 is an HVAC enclosed ultra-low harmonic drive, part of the ACH580 series. It carries a UL light-overload rating of 400 Hp at 477 A on a 460 V supply, sized for large fan, pump, and compressor loads in commercial HVAC or industrial air-handling systems. The R11 frame houses the non-fused disconnect and harmonic filter stage, so the unit itself cleans the line-side current distortion — no external filter cabinet needed for IEEE 519 compliance on most installations.
Voltage and enclosure fit
Input range is 440 to 480 V three-phase at 50/60 Hz, standard for North American 460 V distribution. Mount the drive on a flat backplate with clearance for the R11 footprint; the integral disconnect means no external fused switch is required in the line feed.
