The 3AXD50000034609: Three duty ratings cover the operating profile. Normal use (Pn) is 250 kW at 430 A; heavy-duty (PhD) and light-overload (PlD) both deliver 200 kW, but at different currents — 363 A for heavy, 400 A for light. That means the drive can handle a 200 kW pump on a constant-torque load (heavy) or a variable-torque load (light) with the same power but different thermal headroom. The heavy-duty current is the binding number for a high-starting-torque application.
Wall-mounted in an IP21 / NEMA Type 1 enclosure — drip-proof, indoor use only. Ambient temperature is capped at 40 °C, with humidity from 5 to 95% non-condensing. The R9 frame size and 68 dB(A) sound level mean it needs a ventilated cabinet or a dedicated wall bay; plan for forced airflow if the ambient in the room runs near the limit. Altitude rating of 4000 m covers most installations without derating.
