The 3AXD50000038952: Three overload curves are defined: light-overload (PlD 4.0 kW, IlD 8.9 A), normal use (Pn 4 kW, In 9.4 A), and heavy-duty (PhD 3.0 kW, IhD 7.2 A). For a constant-torque load like a conveyor or positive-displacement pump, size against the heavy-duty column — that 7.2 A continuous is the safe limit for sustained motor torque. For variable-torque fans or centrifugal pumps, the normal-use 9.4 A gives you headroom. Light-overload is for short-duration peaks only.
Wall-mounted, frame R1. IP21 and NEMA Type 1 — suitable for indoor, dry locations; not for washdown or dust. Ambient max 40 °C, altitude 1000 m without derating. Operating humidity 5–95% non-condensing. Standby loss is 14 W, so it won't cook a small panel, but leave a little air gap around the R1 heatsink.
