Duty ratings and real-world fit
The heavy-duty (PhD) rating of 3.0 kW at 7.2 A applies for constant-torque loads such as conveyors or positive-displacement pumps where the drive must hold torque at low speed. The apparent power output of 6.5 kV·A gives a quick cross-check against transformer sizing upstream.
The drive includes 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 6 digital inputs with 3 digital outputs — enough for basic speed reference, feedback, and run/stop control without an expansion module. Communication is via CAN; there is no onboard Industrial Ethernet interface, so if you need PROFINET or EtherNet/IP, plan for an optional fieldbus adapter. The control unit is included, so no separate ordering of the keypad or logic board.
Environmental limits and mounting
The wall-mounted Frame R1 enclosure is IP55 / NEMA Type 12, meaning it is dust-protected and can handle hose-down cleaning — common in food-and-beverage or light industrial lines. Standby loss is 14 W, and sound pressure is 59 dB(A) at full load. The power consumption figure of 136 W is the drive's own internal losses, not the motor draw.
