Drive for HVAC applications — BACnet, IP55, frame R1
Rated 1.1 kW normal use (3.3 A) on a 380–480 V three-phase supply, it delivers 2.3 kVA apparent power. The IP55 enclosure and NEMA Type 12 rating let it mount directly on a wall in washdown or dusty mechanical rooms without a separate cabinet. Communication is BACnet over the built-in port — no optional module needed. That makes it a straight drop into a BMS backbone for fan, pump, or compressor control. There are 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs for sensor feedback or setpoint trim, plus 6 digital inputs and 3 digital outputs for start/stop, fault reset, or status indication.
Duty ratings — normal, heavy, light overload
This drive carries three output ratings so you match the load profile without oversizing. Normal use (IEC) is 1.1 kW / 3.3 A; heavy-duty use drops to 0.8 kW / 2.6 A for constant-torque loads like conveyors or positive-displacement pumps. Light-overload use holds at 1.1 kW / 3.1 A — same power as normal but slightly lower current, reflecting a different duty cycle. Under UL listing the light-overload rating is 1.5 Hp / 3.0 A, and heavy-duty UL drops to 2.1 A. Pick the rating that matches your motor's service factor and the application's peak demand.
Frame size R1, wall-mounted. Ambient temperature limit is 40 °C maximum; operating humidity up to 95% RH non-condensing. Standby loss is 14 W, and full-load power consumption is 51 W. The drive includes a control unit and a lithium coin cell (CR2032, 220 mAh) for real-time clock backup. No industrial Ethernet interface is present — BACnet is the only fieldbus on board.
