The 3AXD50000046897: The drive carries three duty curves. Normal-duty (Pn) delivers 110 kW at 206 A continuous — that is the figure for most constant-torque pump/fan applications. Heavy-duty (PhD) drops to 90 kW at 169 A, which is the rating to use for a constant-torque load like a conveyor or extruder where you need higher peak current headroom. Light-overload (PlD) also lands at 110 kW but at a slightly lower 196 A — this is for variable-torque loads where the overload profile is lighter. The apparent power output is 143 kV·A, so the drive can feed a motor with that kVA demand at unity power factor.
Environmental limits and installation
Ambient temperature maxes at +55 °C, with 5–95 % non-condensing humidity. Altitude rating goes to 4000 m — no derating needed up there, which is useful for high-altitude sites or mine installations. Sound pressure is 68 dB(A), and standby loss is 75 W, so the panel ventilation budget is modest. The drive includes a control unit, and the R8 frame is wall-mountable.
Two analog inputs, two analog outputs, six digital inputs, and two digital outputs are onboard. Communication is CAN; there are no onboard Industrial Ethernet interfaces — if you need PROFINET or EtherNet/IP, you add an option module. The drive also has a lithium coin cell (CR2032, 220 mAh) for real-time clock backup — two cells, 6 g total.
