Duty selections and real-world headroom
The 3AXD50000047495: Three duty ratings on this part: normal-use at 18.5 kW / 38 A, heavy-duty at 15.0 kW / 32 A, and light-overload at 18.5 kW / 36 A. Light-overload is the same kW as normal but with a lower current (36 A vs 38 A), so you get a bit more thermal margin for variable-torque fans and pumps.

Input voltage range is 380–415 V, frequency 47.5–63 Hz. Ambient temp tops at +55 °C, and the drive is rated to 4000 m altitude — no derating needed at typical plant elevations. Standby loss is 49 W; expect about 851 W power consumption at full load.
Comes with 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 6 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs. Communication is CAN onboard — no integrated Industrial Ethernet. If you need PROFINET or EtherNet/IP, plan on an optional fieldbus adapter module. The control unit is included in the box.
