Onboard I/O includes 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 6 digital inputs, and 2 digital outputs. Communication is via CAN; there are zero industrial Ethernet interfaces on the base unit. For Ethernet connectivity (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT), an optional fieldbus adapter module must be added. The control unit is included, so no separate ordering of the control panel is needed for basic commissioning.
