The ABB 3AXD50000047791 is an ACS480-04-12A7-4 general purpose drive module for low-voltage AC motors — 5.5 kW normal-use output at 12.6 A on a 400 V three-phase supply, with a heavy-duty rating of 4.0 kW at 9.4 A for tougher loads. Frame size R2, IP20, open type. It includes the control unit, so you're not sourcing a separate controller board for the panel.
Three duty ratings let you match the drive to the load profile. Normal use (IEC) is 5.5 kW / 12.6 A — that's your constant-torque conveyor or pump. Heavy-duty use drops to 4.0 kW / 9.4 A, sized for a higher peak demand cycle. Light-overload use (PlD) stays at 5.5 kW but the current limit is 12.0 A, slightly below the normal-use 12.6 A — useful for variable-torque fans. Under UL listing, the normal-use output current is 11 A, heavy-duty 7.6 A, and light-overload 11.0 A. If your panel carries a UL label, size against those numbers, not the IEC values.
Two analog inputs and two analog outputs are on board — enough for a speed reference and a feedback transducer without an expansion module. Six digital inputs and three digital outputs handle start/stop, fault reset, and a run status relay. The only fieldbus interface is CAN; there is no onboard industrial Ethernet port. If your control network is PROFINET or EtherNet/IP, you'll need an optional fieldbus adapter module.
