It's rated 3 Hp light-overload use at 4.8 A, fed from a 440-480 V three-phase supply, and lives in an IP55 NEMA Type 12 enclosure. Frame size R1 keeps it compact.
IP55 and NEMA Type 12 mean the drive is sealed against dust jets and hose-down water. Good for a chiller plant or a rooftop unit where the weather comes in. Not submersible, but it'll take a spray-down. Frame size R1 is the physical footprint. Check the mounting hole pattern and clearance for the IP55 enclosure depth — R1 is the smallest frame in the line, so it fits where space is tight.
This drive is built for variable-torque loads: supply fans, return fans, cooling tower fans, condenser fans, pumps in chilled water or hot water loops. The wall-mounted IP55 variant goes straight onto the equipment skid or the mechanical room wall, no separate enclosure needed.
